I love that I can put together a meal the day before and let it cook over night or during the day, on low, while I am at work. In terms of tenderizing the meat, using a slow cooker gets them very juicy and makes them far easier to digest.

This book has some great recipes. I like curries but I have never made one on my own this cookbook has many recipes for curries that were simple to follow. This book has a great selection and the recipes are easy to follow. I found so many amazing recipes in this cookbook, ones I never thought of cooking in the past. Dessert in a slow cooker, who even thought of that?! This cookbook is easy to follow and has tasty recipes.

The cover of this cookbook looks really great and I thought that there would be more pictures of the cooked recipes in the book. There's not. A cookbook that lacks images is not helpful if you ask me. I tried out a few of the recipes and they were pretty good but very bland. But as a weight loss cookbook I kind of expected that.
