Apparently Caralluma fimbriata contains pregnane glycosides, a phytochemical that blocks the enzyme citrate lyase. When this enzyme's activity is stopped, your body cannot produce fat. So, Caralluma Fimbriata blocks the enzymes responsible for breaking down and producing fatty acids in the body. I admit I don't know what all those enzymes are about, but I do know that this is worth a shot to see if it works. You only need to take 2 capsules twice a day as a dietary supplement - so you can take it with your regular meds and see if it works.
