The mirror itself is kind of small, fits in my hand. But it's really convenient to hold then so that's great!My boyfriend usually shaves out of the shower but with this mirror he's loving shaving in the shower, it saves him time in the morning. The mirror does not fog if you follow the directions to warm the mirror before use. If you forget the warming step, it will fog but it's easy to correct. Just warm it under the water.
The mirror is on a rope (as described) so I have ours hanging from the shower head in the shower. The rope is high strength para-cord so I have no fear of it breaking.
I expected the mirror to develop film or spots from our hard water but cleaning it was easy! It didn't scratch at all.
