My Use - And Thoughts

When I first opened the box, I was amazing at how sleek and thin it was. It is quite beautiful with it's tempered glass platform and brushed stainless steel giving it an inspiring hourglass design to surround your weight on the display screen.

This scale is accurate and allows you to change the information contained in it including your gender, height, and age. Every time I stepped on the scale I was the same weight within 1/10 of a pound. If you are looking for a scale that will look beautiful in your bathroom and it 99% accurate (or better), this could be the scale for you.

The scale recognizes a profile within +/- 6lb – if you’ve gained or lost more than that between weigh-ins, you’ll need to recreate your user profile. And the scale stores up to eight profiles!

If you stand on it barefoot, it not only tells you your weight, but body fat, water, muscle, and bone mass. You can set the scale to measure in pounds, kilograms, or stones. All of the numbers that the scale outputs are based on the BMI chart averages (a BMI chart is included in the manual), so take the BMI info with a grain of salt (at 190 and 5 foot 3, I have been "obese" for years). The BMI scale does not take muscle mass into account.

Because the scale uses a low-level electric current thru the body to do its calculations, it is noted in the manual it should not be used by pregnant women and children under the age of 10, or anyone with an implanted device of any sort – from pacemakers, plates & screws, to contraceptive devices, or those who are ill, suffer from a disease, or taking medication affecting your water levels. So, provided you are a healthy, non-pregnant individual over the age of 10, and fit nicely into the BMI chart averages, this scale would be a great choice to keep an eye on your stats. Since I don't fit the BMI chart averages, I will continue using it just as a regular digital scale.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
